Malaysian casino giant Genting International has taken its first steps into the online gaming sector through the launch of CircusCasino.com, which will be operated by its Genting Stanley Alderney subsidiary.
The company said the venture represented a "logical and important strategic step" for Genting’s continued product expansion for its UK customer base.
"It is important for us to meet all the needs of our customers, including the growing demand to be able to play online from the comfort of their homes," said Justin Tan, managing director for Genting International.
"It is a significant opportunity for us to leverage the heritage, expertise and reputation of our group brands."
CircusCasino.com will offer more than 100 casino, card and table games, including roulette, blackjack, pontoon, baccarat, craps and slots. Players will also be able to play various cash poker games and tournaments at the time and table limits of their choice.
Genting’s operations in the UK includes 44 clubs, such as Crockfords club in Mayfair, London, as well as the national Circus, Maxims and Mint brands.
