The end date has been extended from February 7 to May 31.

The companies said the extension will give them additional time to secure the necessary regulatory approvals from gaming authorities.

The terms of the merger agreement are unchanged and the closing date is now expected to occur in the second quarter of 2025.

Seamus McGill, chief executive officer of Gan, said: “The parties continue to respond to regulatory requests.

“This process takes time, but we are making great progress and working with Sega Sammy in anticipation of a successful closing.”
