Fanatics Betting and Gaming has launched its Fanatics Sportsbook in Illinois.
The latest state roll-out for the operator, its 19th in the US, comes after it completed its acquisition of PointsBet’s US operations last week.
The US$225m deal between Fanatics and PointsBet has seen the former company take over the latter’s operations across the country, with PointsBet instead focusing on its Canadian and Australian businesses.
Fanatics also said that it will upgrade the four PointsBet retail locations in partnership with SuzoHapp.
New signage, enhanced odds screens and new self-service betting kiosks from the supplier will be integrated into Hawthorne Race Course in Cicero, Crazy Pour Sports Bar in Villa Park and Club Hawthorne in Crestwood.
Players Pub & Grill in Prospect Heights is also set for a makeover as part of the partnership.
