Esports Entertainment, a licensed online gambling company with a specific focus on e-sports wagering, has received its Curaçao licence.
The licence allows the company to conduct real-money online gambling and wagering activities on a global basis.
CEO Grant Johnson said: "Curaçao is recognised as one of the world's leading i-gaming jurisdictions and this licence authorises Esports Entertainment to deliver real-money next-generation online gambling to e-sports enthusiasts worldwide. This is especially timely given both our upcoming launch and tremendous success at Gamescom 2017."
Curaçao has been offering this type of licence since 1996, making it one of the first jurisdictions to regulate online gambling.
