Frida Ericksson has been appointed director of operations at Esports betting’s start-up company Luckbox. Ericksson will head responsible gambling, security, fraud prevention, verification, payments and customer support at the Isle of Man company.
Ericksson started with Betsson Group in Malta and is a specialist in anti-money laundering processes. She joins the esports betting platform that will launch in the New Year. Luckbox will permit players to bet on esports. Last August it became the first cryptocurrency-supported esports project to gain a full licence under the Online Gambling Regulation Act, issued by the Gaming Supervision Commission.
Ericksson is not the only recent key appointment for Luckbox; she follows Aleksandar Dimitrov who was appointed head of product sportsbook.
Luckbox was founded by former PokerStars executives Lars Lien and Mike Stevens.
