The 2017 edition of the EiG Expo in Berlin, Germany - the last before the igaming event merges with the iGaming Super Show next July - entered its second day this morning with a marked increase in footfall on day one.

As always, the numbers across the floor in the grungey surroundings of Treptow's Arena Berlin tend to ebb and flow as the central conference area fills and empties but there is a definite sense that the middle day of the event will be the liveliest.
It is even more impressive given that, for much of Germany, today is Reformation Day - a public holiday.
It was announced last week that EiG will merge with the summer's iGaming Super Show and Amsterdam Affiliate Conference, which both take place at the Amsterdam RAI exhibition centre. Rebranded as iGB Live!, the inaugural combined event takes place in July 2018.
Most exhibitors iNTERGAMINGi talked to about the move felt it would be positive as the show calendar was too congested as it stands. There is no confirmation on EiG visitor numbers yet from organiser Clarion Events but an update will follow once this information is available.
