Gaming test lab eCOGRA has received approval to offer its services in West Virginia, US, where both igaming and sports betting are regulated.
The company can now offer clients independent audits and certification assessments for the state, aligning with regulations from the West Virginia Lottery Commission.
Will Shuckburgh, group CEO of eCOGRA, labelled the move a “vital step” in its US expansion.
“As the igaming sector continues to flourish, we remain focused on delivering the highest standards of regulatory assurance, enabling our clients to meet compliance expectations with confidence,” he said.
ECOGRA is also approved to operate in the US states of Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Virginia.
