The Dutch gambling regulator has issued four warnings to operators after a random risk analysis found match-fixing risks.

Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) issued guidance at the start of 2024 on how operators can help prevent match-fixing, before initiating a follow-up investigation.

As part of the probe, data was requested from “various” licence holders about risk analyses on a specific fixture in a foreign competition.

“In four cases, the associated analysis appeared not to have been carried out correctly and/or not interpreted correctly,” the regulator said.

“The KSA issued a warning to all four providers where this was the case. In the future, the KSA will continue to request random analyses from providers to check whether the legal requirements are being met.”
