For the second year in a row, Dublin has beat London for the title of European Poker Capital, it was revealed by poker magazine Bluff Europe.

The Irish capital, which is home to Europe’s oldest poker tournament, was praised for the variety of card clubs in the city and tournament organisers’ commitment to player-friendly structures. Although finishing as runner-up, London also received praise for its venues and tournaments alongside the growth of pub poker in the city over the last two years.

Bluff Europe revealed that other cities in the running for this year’s title included Vienna, Tallinn and Galway.
