DraftKings has introduced a new Pick6 fantasy sports variant based around a “more or less” mechanic for individual player statistics.

Customers build a line-up of between two and six players from two or more teams, choosing more or less of a statistic for every athlete on their team.
The peer-to-peer competition product will feature NBA and NFL player picks at first and is currently available in six US states, with more rollouts scheduled to follow.
Players in Maryland, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Minnesota, South Carolina and Tennessee can make use of the My Picks functionality, which sees customers monitor their submitted, live and finalised picks.
DraftKings is also set to release its Progressive Parlay product within its sports betting ecosystem, with CEO Jason Robins revealing at a conference this week that the product will be available within weeks.
Igaming on DraftKings radar
Robins also told the Craig-Hallum Online Gaming Conference that he is monitoring igaming as a major source of potential future revenue if more states regulate online casino.
He said: “It’s a very significant chunk of our revenues, and that’s only in five states. It’s going to grow. For me, igaming is kind of the unlocked, or the hidden, not yet unlocked, gem of DraftKings.
“I think a lot of people are sort of sleeping on it a little bit, and maybe you’re just focused on how big the sports side can be and not realising the igaming can make the business even larger.”
On the launch of ESPN Bet via the media company’s US$1.5bn deal with Penn Entertainment, Robins said: “[It’s] not the end of the world in the short term. We watch this stuff very closely. We’ve seen nothing to suggest that our trajectory is changing, but it’s obviously something we’re keeping a close eye on.”
