The Colorado Division of Gaming has launched the state’s new self-exclusion programme to mark September’s Responsible Gaming Education Month.

Previously, the Problem Gambling Coalition of Colorado enrolled individuals and self-managed the self-exclusion list.

However, the new program allows individuals with responsible gaming concerns to enrol to be excluded from gaming facilities.

Christopher Schroder, director of the Colorado Division of Gaming, said the program is an “exciting advancement for our state.”

The exclusion options are one year, three years or five years and players can either self-exclude online or by visiting a DOG office or printing the form, having it notarised and mailing it to a DOG office.
