The Colorado Division of Gaming says July gross sports betting revenue hit US$24.96m, a year-on-year increase from the $20.8m posted last July.

Month-on-month, revenue rose significantly from $9.2m in June.

The July revenue came from a reported handle of $281.1m, up 8.78 per cent year-on-year. However, handle decreased by 9.51 per cent compared to June’s $310.7m.

Total sports betting taxes for Colorado in July were $1.8m, a 62.86 per cent increase on July 2022’s efforts and a 302.48 per cent increase month-on-month.

Of the $24.96m in revenue for July, $24.8m came through online wagering with retail sports betting contributing $144,165.53.
