Clarion Gaming has cut 24 applications to be its 2023-24 charity partner down to a shortlist of eight, with the winner announced in September.

The chosen partner, to be announced in the week commencing September 4, will be selected from the shortlisted safer gambling organisations and will be Clarion’s partner for its ICE, iGB L!VE and iGB Affiliate events.
Clarion issued the invitation for charity partners in July, with ICE event director Andy Ventris labelling the response “really impressive.”
Ventris added that the winner will be decided by a Clarion Gaming-led panel also featuring industry stakeholders.
He said: “We are long-term supporters of safer gambling and value the role that broader SR initiatives can play in helping to build a sustainable gambling sector.
“When the Consumer Protection Zone was launched in 2018 ICE made history by becoming the first B2B gambling event to include a safer gambling feature on the show floor. Each year the CPZ has grown in size and reputation with 20 organisations featured at ICE in February and the initiative successfully incorporated as part of July’s iGB L!VE.
“Clarion is committed to bringing all of its various partnerships to life and we are looking forward to using the unique platform provided by ICE, iGB Affiliate and iGB L!VE to help the selected charity engage with a truly international audience of industry professionals and thought leaders.”
