Bwin.Party has forecast a positive 2014 for the company thanks partly to anticipated betting on the FIFA World Cup and growth prospects in the US.
Trading since the end of September 2013 has been in line with expectations, said the company, which said it is now focusing on fewer, better-regulated markets and expanding in the US in places like New Jersey.
Following last month’s news that a block on access to its Greece-facing sites had hit 2013 revenues, the news that Brazil 2014 is expected to significantly increase income is a welcome boost.
