Carl Brincat is the new CEO at the Malta Gaming Authority, it was announced yesterday.

Dr Brincat’s appointment followed a lengthy selection process. Brincat is a lawyer who was previously chief legal and enforcement officer at the MGA. He had three years in criminal law before joining the authority, where he has been for six years.
He sits on the board of the Financial Intelligence Analysis Unit and as a member of the Chamber of Advocates (Malta), the International Masters of Gaming Law (IMGL) and the International Association of Gambling Regulators (IAGR).
