The Sport in Focus track at next week’s Betting on Sports conference is to include a session dedicated to the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which takes place in Russia.

Jaap Kalma, commercial director for Italian giants AC Milan, is joined on the panel by BetStars managing director Zeno Ossko; Superbet’s Jamie Hart; OpenBet executive vice president for sports, Keith O’Loughlin; and Shaun Simmonds, head of marketing for SportPesa.
The session will explore how the sports betting sector can engage with the widest possible audience during the summer 2018 tournament, during which games will be played at “Europe-friendly” audience.
Superbet’s Hart said: “Recent technological development provides massive opportunities for improved customer experience in all industries. In my opinion, the betting and gaming industry has only been scratching the surface over the last 20-years and I'll be looking to bounce ideas around some like-minded souls at this important annual event."
Betting on Sports takes place at London’s Olympia on September 13-15.
