The 2017 edition of the Betting on Football Conference began today at Stamford Bridge, the London home of Premier League leaders Chelsea.

With more than 900 delegates in attendance over two days, the main conference tracks are occupying two suites while an exhibition and breakout space fills the concourse below.
Among many interesting sessions on the first of two days of debate and discussion was the Betting Leaders panel in the Drake Suite.
The three-strong panel comprised David Bazak, CEO of 10Bet; Britt Boeskov, CPO at Kindred Group; and Per Wilderstorm, CEO of the Fortuna Entertainment Group.
The panel discussed a range of leadership issues including the management of organisational change during periods of growth and acquisition.
Referencing the recent unifying of brands, including Unibet, under the Kindred Group umbrella, Boeskov said: “To be successful, you’ve got to have one vision and one goal and we were very keen in the Kindred Group to explain where we were going – our financial and group targets, our visions.
“When you integrate staff who might miss the ‘good old days’,” said Boeskov, “you need to come up with a common goal.
“Once they start working together, solving problems together, you can move forward.”
Betting on Football continues tomorrow.
