Bet-at-home, the German online operator, has reported a “significant” increase in earnings during Q3 2018 and expects to achieve its yearly financial target.
EBITDA of €13m in the third quarter was a record, beating figures for Q1 (€9.3m) and Q2 (€1.6m), while gross betting and gaming revenue stood at €37.6m.
Following a marketing drive in Q2 concentrating on the FIFA World Cup, the Q3 focus was on an increase in earnings strength through the acquisition of new customers.
In the first nine months of 2018, Bet-at-home recorded EBITDA of €23.9m (Q1-Q3 2017: €25.4m).
The operator stated: “From the current perspective, and assuming an unchanged regulatory and tax law environment, the management board expects gross betting and gaming revenue increasing to €150m in the fiscal year 2018. Furthermore, the management board assumes EBITDA to reach a level between €36m and €40m in 2018.”
