The last decade has been a period of considerable change and development for both the online gaming industry and OpenBet.

It may not feel like it to him, but in November, OpenBet’s chief executive officer, David Loveday, celebrates a decade with the company. “Because so much has been going on, it is hard to believe that 10 years has passed,” he told iNTERGAMINGi. “When I started at OpenBet (or Orbis as it was then), it was a much smaller company with a small number of customers and only 50 employees.”

These days, OpenBet is truly international, with over 550 employees and a blue-chip customer base. “To have achieved all that over 10 years is no mean feat and is a testament to everyone at OpenBet,” remarked Loveday.

The company has grown rapidly over the last decade and over the last five years, staff headcount in online has increased 20 per cent year-on-year. “We have gone from 50 people to 550 people and have become more sophisticated, dealing with customers on a more international level and continuing to build a complex product set to meet their demands,” he commented.
