Abelson Info has taken over betting odds compiler Super Soccer Oddsfeed, whose managing director Tony Walpole has decided to step away from the business.
For several years, Abelson Info and Super Soccer Oddsfeed have worked together on the joint Goalscorer Prices and Settlement feed, which is supplied to a number of the major UK bookmakers.
Super Soccer Oddsfeed supplies the odds while Abelson Info provides the automated settlement system, all delivered via a single feed.
Jeevan Jeyaratnam, senior trader at Super Soccer Oddsfeed, said:“Myself and the team at Super Soccer Oddsfeed are delighted to work for Abelson Info, a company we have worked closely with for years.
“We are very excited about the opportunities this takeover will allow us to pursue, including the launch of an in-running version of GPS for the 2017-2018 season.”
Abelson Info director Ed Abelson added: “We are well familiar with the expertise of the odds compilers at Super Soccer Oddsfeed and are delighted to welcome them to the company.
“I would like to pass on my thanks to Tony Walpole while looking forward to the many exciting opportunities that are ahead of us. We are already developing further products as a combined operation, not least in-play goalscorers.”
The Super Soccer coupon business is unaffected and will continue to be run by LA Walpole.
