A subsidiary of 888 Holdings has filed a constitutional complaint with the German Federal Constitutional Court.
The company had previously been the subject of a ruling on appeal by the court which upheld an order prohibiting the provision of online gaming services in the German state of Baden-Württemberg.
The company has asserted that the ruling of the court infringes its constitutional rights, as well as its rights under EU law (including the freedom to provide services) and hence should be reversed.
The company will continue to closely monitor the legal and regulatory developments in Germany and their implications for its offerings in this market.
