Better Collective will run a sports betting section on the digital platform of Punchng.com, as part of a new partnership.

The company has struck a deal with PUNCH Nigeria, the publisher of some of the African country’s most widely-read media titles.

Better Collective will help PUNCH’s readers make informed decisions in a growing digital sports entertainment market, through a commercial sports betting section with English content.

PUNCH’s audience extends to other parts of Africa, while its content also reaches parts of Europe, North America and Asia.

Jesper Søgaard, co-founder and CEO of Better Collective, said the partnership “allows us to establish a presence on the African continent.”

Adeyeye Joseph, managing director, editor-in-chief of PUNCH, added the deal will help the company to “further its audience and revenue goals.”
