Stern Pinball has unveiled its latest table, featuring one of the most famous names in popular culture, King Kong.
King Kong: Myth of Terror Island will be available in Pro, Premium and Limited Edition models, each with different features.
In the game, players join Ann Darrow, Jack Driscoll and Karl Denham on their journey to the mysterious Terror Island, which results in King Kong travelling back to New York City with disastrous consequences.
The playfield features a custom-sculpted Kong Kong that will react to player’s actions, swinging his arms and torso to assert his dominance. Multiball is triggered by locking balls into a New York City train car, which will cause an agitated King Kong to destroy it and flip it over.
Players can also enter The Pit on Terror Island, which is guarded by custom-sculpted giant spider. The Pit magnetically grabs and attacks the ball, challenging the player.
To honour the original creation of King Kong in 1932, the Limited Edition model will be limited to 932 games globally. The collectible model includes the Speaker Expression Lighting System with King Kong-themed game effects, a full-colour mirrored backglass, full-colour reflective foil high-definition cabinet decals and exclusive pinball armour.
