A coil of lights show up in differently-coloured sections. The object is to depress the plunger with enough accuracy to stop the marker within the group of lights.
The game speeds up as it progresses and eventually the player may get the chance to go for the top award, but by then it is just one individual light he must try to stop the marker on.
