Cut the Rope took the handheld gaming market by storm when Zeptolab first offered the physics-based puzzle game in October of 2010.

The Cut the Rope merchandiser utilises a series of five discs that range in size, from ‘easier’ to ‘harder’ and the operator determines which disc to use based on the value of the prize.

“Game play is straight forward, intuitive, and has players lining up for more play,” the company said.

The patented vacuum mechanism is controlled by the player and attempts to land the suction cup inside the disc, if they are successful, the vacuum will lift up the prize. Adding to the instinctive game play is the colour coded ‘difficulty chart’ that informs the player the level of difficulty for each prize.
