Warehouse of Games sales and development manager, Yuhanis Nawasreh reports signs of resurgence in the amusement industry in one of the world’s most important markets.

“This year was exceptional,” Nawasreh told InterGame as the 2019 DEAL show was drawing to a close. “We have had a much bigger booth with lots more variety than last year. The main difference has been the amount of VR we’re carrying.
“With VR though it’s about quality and the titles we’re representing have that in spades. They’ve not been the rushed to market and that translates into much stronger products.
“The products we’ve got have their software and hardware developed in house, with the mechanics and controls and thoroughly tested so we’re super confident in them.
Nawasreh lauded the strength of the partnerships WoG has secured: “ We’re really happy with Immotion, Hologate we’re very proud of, Taito from Japan are back and with us. They’re just a few of our newer partners; it's exciting times,” he said.
With so many brands to represent, it’s vital to have the right people behind the scenes and Nawasreh paid tribute to the staff at WoG: “We have a really good team here at and that’s the only way to handle the long list of partnerships we have. In sales, design, marketing and across the board, they’re all very dedicated and we couldn’t offer the high level of service we do without them.”
A large range of products is essential to service the industry in the region, one which has had a somewhat more difficult last couple of years than it is used to, but Nawasreh believes things are changing: “Things have started to pick up a little since the turn of the year. A lot of projects that were on hold have re-commenced, investors have realised that slowing down won’t help as they will still have to spend the same amount of money.
“The market is showing signs of recovery and of course that’s fantastic news for us and the brands we represent. On the back of DEAL we’ve gained new clients, signed plenty of deals and forged new relationships, so we’re really happy.”
