Adventure play specialist CAP.Co (short for Creating Adventurous Places) this week reported that it is developing a new park for the Thursford Collection, a unique attraction in Norfolk, UK.

The Thursford Collection offers internationally renowned Christmas events, a museum for the world’s largest collection of steam engines and organs and a leading event venue.

In this project with CAP.Co, the venue will extend its offering with a new vintage fairground themed play area. This is set to be one of the biggest play parks in the East Anglia area.

North Norfolk District Council has approved planning permission for the new play park. Replacing the attraction’s existing play area, the new attraction will span 30,000sq.ft and accommodate up to 400 visitors.

The entire play park will have a vintage fairground theme, with attractions such as the UK-first water play fountain installation, giant Helter Skelter, Crazy Carousel, Ferris Wheel, bumper car area, teacups and more.

The bespoke themed play structure will also have walkways, bridges and tunnels across numerous levels to explore and is expected to be complete for late summer 2025.
