In the US, Video Gaming Technologies has received official notification from the Illinois Gaming Board that its VEGA$ Jackpot$ product line is approved for the video gaming terminal market in Illinois.
“This has been a massive project where dozens of our associates worked tirelessly to launch this innovative platform,” said Jon Yarbrough, VGT’s CEO.
“Now that VEGA$ Jackpot$ received the official go ahead from the IGB, we're moving forward with bringing the product to market.
“We are confident that our extensive research and game development process will make VGT the game of choice in Illinois.” With the formal approval, VGT will begin installing terminals. The initial installation will occur within a handful of locations with future installation waves occurring in the near future.
