It has been an interesting initial 12 months for coin-op newcomer Valiant Leisure, with this year's ATEI serving as an ideal opportunity to celebrate its first birthday.

The UK-based company received a welcome birthday present at the show with the signing of its complete mounted trailer concept, for its win a prize every time machine, to Michael Day of Daytime Leisure.

According to managing director Bradly Carter, the machine has had its fair share of teething problems, but these it would seem are well and truly ironed out and it is receiving great interest from operators and distributors on a worldwide scale, including the US, Spain and Italy.

To make sure the machines attract as many young customers as possible, the company has also teamed up with Whitehouse Leisure, which will provide licensed and generic plush toys specifically for the machines, including characters from popular CBeebies television programmes Bob The Builder and The Tweenies.
