A huge 170,000sq.ft addition to the Bavarian Inn, located in Frankenmuth, Michigan, US, held its soft opening on March 21.

It is home to a redesigned FEC that includes a range of entertainment options for the whole family, such as mini bowling, rock climbing and laser tag.
The US resort has a new three-story rope course as well. Reported as Michigan’s biggest indoor adventure ropes course, the new attraction contains 25 different obstacles, such as zigzag beams, bridges, balance beams, a rolling log and a Sky-Rail zipline, with guests reaching a height of 45ft during the experience.
The reimagined indoor water park features 16 new waterslides, a wave pool, a not-so-lazy river and an adult-only swim up bar.
First announced in 2023, the highly anticipated opening was met with positivity on social media, as the resort said: “This project is a true testament to our commitment to creating enjoyable experiences for all ages, and now it’s time to make a splash! Book a room with us today to enjoy the brand-new 16 waterslides, huge wave pool, not-so-lazy river, Michigan’s first swim-up bar and so much more! We cannot wait to make all new and exciting memories with you.”
