Lane Master, an arcade-style bowling game by UNIS, a manufacturer of amusement machines based in China, has arrived in the US after being unveiled at IAAPA in November.

UNIS’ arcade bowling game arrives in US

Built-in sensors detect a ball's speed and trajectory and translate the action on-screen. The game is played like a traditional bowling game, with players building up points over a number of frames. The game is 10ft long and includes four bowling balls.

Skilled players can earn extra points by rolling strikes and entering the Golden Pin bonus stage. The number of strikes needed to enter the bonus stage can be adjusted based on the skill of the players in the location.

Tom Oliver, the operator of Oliver Vending and Music Systems in Maine, said: “The Lane Master income has been fantastic; people have actually been queuing to play it. Based on this, I have ordered two more units for my other arcades."

Ian Eason, managing director of Instance Automatics, said: "This is one of the best machines I have seen from UNIS. We have had fantastic results with the first container and already ordered three more containers. This is going to be a fantastic addition to the UNIS line-up for 2017 and 2018."
