It has been reported that UK bingo and amusement arcade operators will have to wait until after parliament's spring break for a response from the government on the softening of rules that have seen the number of slot machines allowed on their premises dramatically slashed.

Under the new UK gambling laws, highly profitable £500 jackpot machines have had to be removed, leaving many clubs and arcades facing possible closure.
