Rumours circulating out of Germany suggest that there is a substantial UK-based machine operator seeking to buy up arcades in the country.
If there is any substance to the report, then it fits with circumstances currently in force in Germany, where the 5,000 German arcades have been changing hands very quickly.
Bigger German groups like Gauselmann and Löwen have been active, while Austria’s Novomatic has been gradually building its own route of arcades.
Russian-based influences are also there, actively building chains of arcades.
