Tech-driven golf entertainment concept Topgolf is opening a location in the city of St Petersburg, Florida, this week.

The new venue opens this Friday, June 30, and will be Florida's eighth Topgolf venue.
Topgolf St Petersburg will offer visitors 102 "outdoor climate-controlled hitting bays" over three levels, all using patent Toptracer technology which trace metrics such as the golf ball's flight path and distance.
Visitors can also benefit from a full-service restaurant, rooftop terrace with fire pits, over 200 TVs, music and year-round "family-friendly programming."
There are also lessons available through the location's "director of instruction" through the Topgolf coach programme.
Topgolf chief operating officer, Gen Gray, said: "We're working every day to make the game of golf more accessible, more diverse and more fun, and we invite our neighbours in the Pinellas County community to show us your best - or worst - swing. Either way, as long as you're having a blast."
