With many of the New Zealand-based Timezone stores closed in 2011 due to the Christchurch earthquakes, the operator has focused on establishing new satellite locations to compensate.
Timezone has now completed the installation of two lanes of Highway Bowling and a range of coin-op games at a new satellite location in the Lower North Island region. This brand new 5,000sq.m facility is a combination of a kids' play area and indoor basketball/cricket/netball facility with a bar, café and restaurant.
