In February, family entertainment centre operator Timezone held its biennial international conference in Gold Coast, Australia, attracting delegates from seven countries.

The three-day event brings together mid to senior-level staff from across the business and this year focused on the company’s vision and mission for the future. Sonaal Chopra, group CEO, set the tone for the conference by re-emphasising the company’s goals and strategies to achieve them.

The core of the conference centred on debates and discussions about future trends and drivers of the business, including presentations on store formats, products, marketing and merchandising, customer care and internet platforms.

Delegates also had the opportunity to tour Timezone’s largest location, the 5,000sq.m Surfers Paradise store.

“This conference was a great podium not only for excellent networking but also to explore new capabilities and best practices across Timezone business units,” said Chopra. “Participants took back some great learning with an aim to create unique, memorable and relevant experiences for all Timezone customers.”
