Officers of the Economic and Cyber Crime division of the Thai Police recently raided factories in Bangkok and Pattaya, which were suspected of selling counterfeit Megatouch machines.

The officers also shut down illegal Megatouch copies operating in four shopping malls around Pattaya.

Software discs and other documentation were among the items seized by police, while the factory’s managing directors and staff were arrested.

Megatouch Thailand distributor Galaxy Edu-Hitech assisted the planning of the raids and said: "This is our first action against copies in Thailand and I anticipate other actions in the upcoming weeks."
