Plans for a new arcade called Lucky Spot in a shopping centre in Tarpon Springs, Florida, US, have been approved by local authorities.

20 arcade games and 11 computer games are planned for the 18-plus arcade that is expected to feature games of skill like Mortal Kombat and Tekken.
The venue will contain redemption elements as guests will be able to earn credits on a cashless system that will be redeemable at the prize counter for items such as iPads, TVs, digital cameras, blow dryers and vacuum cleaners, according to the owners.
Local authorities approved the plans but will not approve an alcoholic beverage licence for the premise. Instead, Lucky Spot intends to offer snacks and soft drinks to its guests.
“We are excited to bring this unique entertainment option to Tarpon Springs and look forward to becoming an active part of the local business community,” Lucky 7 management said in a letter to the city.
