UK trade association Bacta last week met with Treasury officials to discuss problems that might come from the changes to inheritance tax.
Bacta has "profound concern" that it could impact the industry in the same way that the farming community fears and is now regularly protesting over.
The association’s representatives report that they made it clear that the changes could lead to severe consequences for businesses that have been in the hands of families for generations and which form a vital part of local economies.
