To coincide with the World of Entertainment exhibition, which started in Prague on Wednesday, Czech distributor Synot held an open day at the home of the Forbes exhibition, which is held in October.

An opportunity to network and discuss issues and ideas with existing clients, the day was a great success and carried on into the early hours of the morning with a night of entertainment in the form of can-can dancers and music acts.

There was an abundance of product on display, including video lottery terminals and machines from UK business partner JPM.

According to Pavel Michalcio, sales director at Synot, the company’s decision to hold its own open day rather than supporting the World of Entertainment show was down to the company’s focus on customer relations.

"We find that open days really are more successful than some of the exhibitions," he said. "Mainly because the visitors are there to see you rather than someone else and it enables us to spend more time with each of them."
