Following the signing of a Memorandum of Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the Zhongshan government and the Burnaby government, Chinese amusement manufacturer Dragon World International was recently visited by Mayor Derek Corrigan of Burnaby city in Canada, accompanied by Zhen Xiangrong, vice secretary of Zhongshan City People's Government, and other officials.
According to Dragon World International, following the visit Mayor Corrigan expressed interest in the company working closely with companies in the Canadian city in the future.
A visit from Liang Shugen, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Vancouver, confirmed this interest. He told Dragon World International: "Burnaby was very much interested in cooperating with Zhongshan amusement companies and I will do my best to promote the region."
