The Entertainment, Attractions and Gaming International Expo (EAG) has opened its doors at ExCeL London, UK, for the first day of a three-day event.

More than 4,000 operators from sectors including FECs, AGCs, piers, leisure attractions, bingo halls and bowling centres are expected the attend the event, which is owned by the UK’s trade association, Bacta.
The event was officially opened by Lord McNicol of West Kilbride, a Labour Party politician and former general secretary of the party from 2011-2018.
Many exhibitors were displaying new products, while at the same meeting up with customers and friends in the industry.
For some exhibitors it was their first time, while for regulars at the event it was the continuation of a tradition that goes back decades, as they use it to showcase their new products. One such exhibitor was game manufacturer Concept Games, which has been going to EAG for 40 years. “We’re regulars here and it’s always great a show to attend. It’s an ideal place to find potential new customers and meet up with our regular customers,” said Josh Stayman, technical director at Concept Games.
For Paulo Sidoli, director of kiddie ride manufacturer SM Machines, EAG represents the perfect launchpad for new products, in his case the Big Plane and Gondolla Panorama. “This show is always good for us as it’s the ideal launchpad for the new season. That’s why this company has been coming here for 30 years. It gives customers a chance to see our new products who are planning for the new season.
“It’s been steady so far and I expect it will get busier.”
