UK Gambling Minister Baroness Twycross has announced that a reform of the stakes and prizes levels for Category D gaming machines would be next on the schedule for her department.

This, said the minister, would help FECs to "thrive, not just survive.”

However, Bacta president John Bollom said that the association will be pressing for a review of the other categories of machines too. “This is a measure that will support FECs, pubs, clubs, AGCs and the whole of the economy.”

Bingo club support from the government would also be coming, said the minister, with a review of the licensing regime for bingo premises.
