Sega Amusements Europe launched Sega Rally 3 at its open day, which took place in Chessington, Surrey, this week.
A line-up of 62ins motion-based deluxe cabinets were on show for the invited guests that had come from across the company’s European territory.
Sega Rally 3 has undergone thousands of hours of testing, and the week-long launch marked the culmination of two-and-a-half years of development.
Linkable up to six players, the game features the original Sega Rally 1 track Desert ‘95, remodelled with today’s technological advances in graphics, three challenging environments and a gruelling Championship mode.
Justin Burke, sales and marketing manager, commented: "The tremendous response we have had this week confirms that we have a winner on our hands and they will be a great boost to any arcade that sites them."
