Sega Amusements Europe has secured the global distribution rights for the Super Booth interactive photo booth.

Making its debut on the Sega stand at IAAPA in Florida this week, the Super Booth is designed in the US and sees users interact with various different characters, which are acted out by professional actors.

The booth can fit up to four people at one time and sees them guided through a series of poses by the different characters, of which there are currently nine.

Sega Amusements’ Aaron Gilbey told InterGame: “While there is still plenty of tweaking to be done, we believe this is something completely new for the photo booth sector.

“The end user chooses which character they want to interact with in the first instance and from there they follow their lead when it comes to the different poses. There is also a freestyle stage at the end where the users can pose however they like.

“We are still working on the photo templates that will be available for printing and there will be branding and customisation opportunities available too, but we are hopeful that that booth will make its way over to the UK in time for the EAG show in January, as the response so far from visitors has been positive. We are also looking at additional benefits to operators, such as the possibility of add-on sales to groups, so giving them the option of an additional set of prints at the end.”
