Sandbox Gaming VR is slated to open its new venue in Dublin, Ireland, on March 27.

The new venue will occupy an area of 11,000sq.ft with a maximum capacity of 150 people.

Andy Scanlon, CEO of Sandbox VR UK and Ireland, said: “It’s a privilege to be adding Sandbox VR to Dublin’s rich history of social entertainment. The city has leapt forward since I lived here for seven years of my childhood, and we’re excited for our truly unique experiences to be enjoyed by friends, families and colleagues alike. We look forward to welcoming you all through our doors.”

During a visit groups of up to six players take on an immersive experience that lasts up to 30 minutes.

The venue’s main feature is its five VR arenas that allow guests to take on nine different experiences, including surviving zombie apocalypses, embarking on sci-fi adventures and fantasy quests.

Guests are also able to immerse themselves in the popular Netflix show Squid Game, taking on challenges such as Red Light, Green Light.
