Reflex Gaming won two awards from the Independent Operators’ Association on the first morning of last week’s EAG International Expo.

The Newark-based manufacturer won the group award for best AWP, which was awarded for Alice’s Wonderland, Reflex’s very first Category C machine. The second award was in recognition of the significant contribution Reflex has made to the industry through manufacturing.
“I am really honoured to receive these awards on behalf of Reflex Gaming,” said Quentin Stott, managing director of Reflex. “The IOA Group is made up of highly dedicated companies focusing on the supply of AWPs into the major UK pub businesses and to receive an award from them for our very first Category C machine is very special. Then to be recognised for our significant contribution to the industry at such a time of change is a testament to all the hard work and dedication of everyone at Reflex Gaming.”
John Powell, chairman of the IOA, said. “We were delighted to make the awards to Reflex, who have done a remarkable job to help fill the void in Cat C manufacturing with a number of successful models following the exit of Barcrest.
“Their production has moved from a zero Cat C base to enable them to fulfill a large part of the market. Not only has their first machine Alice’s Wonderland won approvals from all the major retailers, it has continued to perform with significant numbers in the market place and that’s what makes the difference between an average and a great machine.”
