QubicaAMF Worldwide and Sports Challenge Network have teamed up to provide next-generation social mobile experiences to bowlers worldwide.
QubicaAMF has created a custom interface for some of its scoring and centre management systems that allows bowling centre operators to easily integrate the XBowling platform. XBowling, a social mobile application powered by Sports Challenge Network, enables bowlers to create new social experiences and challenges that unite the traditional game of bowling with the limitless reach of players around the globe.
Making it effortless for bowlers to connect and compete between enabled centres, XBowling allows bowlers to choose their own level of competition, adding another dimension to their social bowling experience. Bowlers can engage in head-to-head ‘live’ bowling challenges with friends in other centres, or ‘on demand,’ allowing friends to bowl against them at their convenience. Solo challenges are also available and can be customised frame-by-frame to focus on skill-building or pure fun.
XBowlers are awarded points through game play, skill mastery and social interactions, building their XBowling profile leaderboard status. Through SCN rewards, XBowlers can redeem their points for experiences and merchandise in-centre or online. XBowling is currently available on Apple iOS and Google Android devices, via free downloads from the App Store and Google Play.
QubicaAMF has created a customised XBowling interface specifically for its Bowler Entertainment System and Bowland scoring systems along with its Conqueror Pro centre management system. Sports Challenge Network provides bowling centre operators with XBowling platform installation, configuration, training and marketing support at no charge. In addition, there are no maintenance costs or annual fees associated with the XBowling platform.
“We are excited to partner with Sports Challenge Network,” said John Walker, CEO of QubicaAMF Worldwide. “Building upon the popularity of social media with bowling centre guests represents a wonderful opportunity to build excitement around bowling and drive traffic into participating centres.”
“Our partnership with QubicaAMF enables centre operators to easily integrate the XBowling platform and offer their customers a ground-breaking social mobile experience that connects directly to the game,” added Timothy J Minard, founder and CEO of Sports Challenge Network, developer of XBowling.
“Working together with QubicaAMF, we are delivering a technological evolution that truly enriches the sport of bowling for casual and serious players alike, as well as offering enhanced centre visibility, actionable bowler data and new revenue streams for owners and operators.”
