Games Warehouse founder and current managing director Andy Powell will step down from the business on August 31.
The UK-based leading provider of pay-to-play touchscreen video entertainment has announced a restructure of its senior management team and head office function. This follows the departures of chairman Keith Healey and technical director Neil Spence.
A newly formed five-man executive team of Bernard Taylor (finance director), Andrew Henson (commercial director), Nick Hardy (marketing director), Richard Terry (product director) and John Rowe (software director) will lead and direct the business in the UK.
This group will report to acting managing director Rob Martin, who is based at the Pennsylvania headquarters of parent company AMI Entertainment Network. Rob is also director of product management for the wider AMI group.
Mike Maas, group CEO at AMI Entertainment Networks, said: “Andy, Keith and Neil together built a fantastic company and I know they will each be highly successful in their next pursuits.
“They leave big shoes to fill but I have complete confidence that our new executive team is ready and able to shepherd Games Warehouse through the coming industry changes and execute on our long-term strategy.”
