Major operator and distributor Play Global of Portugal has developed its own coin-operated internet games kiosk to compete with the illegal use of home games consoles in the country.
Play Global showed its E-spot Gaming unit at ATEI and announced at the same time that Avranches Automatic had been appointed the official distributor of the game for France.
Carlos Ramos of Play Global said: “We became tired of seeing our coin-operated video games trying to compete with home games consoles operated commercially, so we decided to bring the same games to the players but licensing them and offering that content in a much more player-friendly way.”
